Debbie Welcher, owner of Chatfield's Bridal Boutique, sent us the following email that references the financial challenge that stores encounter when they choose not to offer strapless styles to help boost sales:
". . . Chatfields is a modest only bridal store - that means we only serve brides that choose modesty. I'm not sure the criteria you have for adding vendors, but I hope you will consider our shop - and honestly other bridal stores in the US that have made a commitment to only offer modest wedding dresses. It's a significant commitment to not offer strapless dresses.
"I've been a little frustrated with some of the options for modest brides - there are only a handful of designers that create modest gowns. So I have started to create some of our own designs, and they are doing really well actually. . . . It's called the Epoch Collection.
"Again, thank you for allowing me to introduce our store."
